The mandate registration is required for the auto-debit of SIPs and doing any lumpsum payment via mandate mode. For registering a paper mandate, a prefilled form is generated for the client with his bank account details. Then the client takes a printout of the form and signs on it and uploads the same to process it.
Step 1
To register for a new Paper Mandate, go to the Partners Dashboard, select the client for creating the Paper Mandate

Go to the Client’s Panel → Mandates → Click on Create Mandate
Step 3
Now, select Bank, enter Amount, select Mandate Type -> Paper Mandate, and click on Submit
Step 4
Now the mandate is created, click on the Email Form button as shown in the below image, so that a prefilled form is generated for the client with his bank account details. The client needs to take a print and sign on it. He then has to upload the scanned copy of the signed mandate form in the client's app to complete the Paper Mandate registration.
Once the client uploads the Paper Mandate form, the mandate status changes from
Pending approval from client → Under Process → Approved
The Turn Around Time(TAT) for complete paper mandate registration is 25-30 working days.
Frequently Asked Mandate Rejection Reasons -
--> Drawer's Signature Differs - The client should sign the mandate that matches the banker's records.
--> No Such Account and INVALID ACC NUM - The client would have inputted the incorrect bank account details, arranged for bank account proof, and create a support ticket, our team will check and get back to you.
--> Invalid Instrument Date - The instrument date of the mandate should always be after the created date. Please create a new mandate and request the client upload the signed mandate form within 1 working day to prevent rejections.
--> Account holder name mismatch with CBS, CBS ACC NUM REQ, Account frozen or Blocked, and Account Inoperative" - The client should reach out to the bank branch for further clarifications.
--> Data mismatch with image - debtor bank name - There is a name mismatch in the mandate and the bank account.
--> Refer to the branch_KYC not completed. - This rejection is related to bank KYC, the client should reach out to the bank branch for further clarifications.
