Non Individuals such as HUF/ Pvt Ltd/ Partnership Firms, the ARN holder needs to renew the ARN as well as the EUIN prior to expiry, also, the ARN and the EUIN needs to be renewed separately, the following article clearly explains the renewal procedure.


For renewing ARN/EUIN, the Partners have to undergo mandatory training called Continuing Professional Education (CPE) through six hours of classroom training or three and a half hours of digital training while sitting in the convenience of a home or office.

The fee for the regular CPE or eCPE is Rs. 2500 which is to be paid through the NISM portal.

eCPE 

  • It is NISM’s Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program delivered in an online mode. In a conventional CPE, participants are required to physically visit the CPE venue and attend a full-day training program. Now, candidates can access the training program from their home/office at their convenience.

  • The eCPE consists of a mix of video lessons and quizzes. One can access the eCPE using a smartphone. However, the internet connectivity should be good.

Enrolling for eCPE:

  • Login to your NISM account and select Enrolment


  • Select the dropdown that says Enroll for CPE/eCPE


  • Select the module (Mutual funds) and category such as normal renewal/ grandfathered by age or grandfathered by experience. 

  • Select the desired date and time slot and make payment online through the NISM portal.


  • The login credentials will be received for eCPE via email and SMS a day prior to the training date. The login credentials will be valid till the time of completion of training.


Renewal

  • Once you appear for this refresher course, NISM will share a certificate stating that you have successfully completed the mandatory training with AMFI.

  • The process of ARN renewal is now paperless and based on Aadhaar. Ensure that your Aadhaar is linked with your mobile number to avail of this online facility.

  • Once the NISM exam is completed the ARN holder have to wait for 7- 10 working days for ARN & EUIN renewal 


Steps for online renewal:

Step 1:  Login to the AMFI website and click on the distributor corner. https://web.camsonline.com/AMFI/login.aspx

  • Firstly, the ARN holder needs to renew his/her ARN by using the above link

  • On successful validation of the login credentials, CAMS will fetch information from NISM on NISM certification / CPE completion.

  • Once it is found that the exam/CPE has been cleared, you will be able to make the online payment.


Step 2: The details will be prefilled, Click on proceed to renew my ARN as shown in the below image.



Step 3: Click on the Upload button to upload the image of the ARN holder.


Step 4: Select the payment option and click on Pay now to proceed with the payment.


Step 5: Enter the details of the bank details and click on Make Payment.


Step 6: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click on Submit.


Step 7: After successful completion of the payment, the status of the payment will be reflected as shown in the below image.


Step 8: Once the ARN is renewed successfully the renewal page will be displayed as shown below.

Step 9:  The ARN renewal confirmation will be sent to the ARN holder's registered email id.



Once the ARN is renewed, for non individuals the EUIN must be also renewed. 

Step 10:  Login to the AMFI website and click on the distributor corner. https://web.camsonline.com/AMFI/login.aspx

On the login page click on EUIN, enter the login details and click on Sign in


Step 11:  Click on Renew the EUIN


Step 12: Click on Make Payment to complete the EUIN Renewal.


Once the EUIN is renewed a confirmation email will be sent to the Non Individual ARN holder's registered email ID.
