Mandatory requirements for investing in SGB
1. A demat account is mandatory for SGB investments -
The Client needs to provide with the below details for the Demat account activation:
i) DP Client ID
ii) DP ID
iii) Demat Bank Account Details
iv) DP Name (NSDL/CDSL)
v) CML Copy (Preferred)
The demat account will get activated within 1 working day, considering all the details provided by the client match the DP details.
If there is an existing client code, we need to create a new client code with the demat account details as mentioned above. The team can assist further on this.
If the demat account is already activated in AssetPlus, follow the second step.
Investments Confirmation:
The partner or client should fill out the below-attached Google Form, which will be considered a confirmation for the investment initiation. It needs to be only from a registered email ID.

Payment Initiation:
With the above confirmation from the partner or client, the order will be manually initiated at BSE’s end, and a payment link will be sent to the client’s registered email ID for completing the payment process.
The payment can be completed via the below modes of payment:
i) Net Banking
ii) UPI
iii) NEFT/RTGS
Note: Offline payment like a check or DD is not allowed
Payment Completion Intimation and Issuance Date:
Once the payment is completed, the partner or client should share the debit details in the support ticket for order confirmation.
The issuance date is December 28th, 2023.
Once the unit allotment is completed, the client will receive the statement in the registered email ID from the RBI.
