Overview

This process is for IFAs (Independent Financial Advisors) who need to renew their ARN (AMFI Registration Number) or EUIN (Employee Unique Identification Number). Renewal is contingent upon completing mandatory Continuing Professional Education (CPE) either through a classroom or digital format.

Pre-requisites for ARN/EUIN Renewal

** eCPE (Electronic Continuing Professional Education)


eCPE is an online version of the NISM CPE program, allowing candidates to attend training from home/office.

  • Contains a combination of video lessons and quizzes
  • Accessible on smartphones or computers
  • Good internet connectivity is required

Enrolment Process for eCPE:

  1. Visit: NISM eCPE Registration
  2. Log in to your NISM account
  3. Click on "Enroll for CPE/eCPE"
  4. Choose:
    • Module: Mutual Funds
    • Category: Normal Renewal / Grandfathered by Age / Grandfathered by Experience
  5. Select the preferred date and time slot
  6. Make a payment online through the portal
  7. You will receive login credentials via email/SMS a day before the session





Steps for Online ARN/EUIN Renewal

Step 1: Log in to the AMFI Distributor Portal

  • Go to: AMFI Distributor Corner
  • Enter:
    • User ID: Your ARN or EUIN
    • Password (Use Forgot Password option if needed)
  • On successful login, CAMS will fetch your CPE completion status from NISM.

Step 2: Proceed with ARN Renewal

  • If CPE status is valid, the page will show your pre-filled details
  • Click on “Proceed to renew my ARN”

Step 3: Upload Photograph

  • Click on “Upload” to add a clear image of the ARN holder

Step 4: Select Payment Method

  • Choose a payment option
  • Click on “Pay Now.”

Step 5: Enter Bank Details

  • Provide bank details
  • Click on “Make Payment”

Step 6: OTP Verification

  • An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
  • Enter OTP and click “Submit”

Step 7: Payment Confirmation

  • After successful payment, the status will reflect on the screen (confirmation page visible)

Step 8: ARN Renewal Success Page

  • The system will display a successful ARN renewal page

Step 9: Email Confirmation

  • A confirmation email with renewal details will be sent to the registered email ID of the ARN holder

Notes:

  • The entire ARN/EUIN renewal process is now paperless and Aadhaar-based.
  • Ensure your Aadhaar is correctly linked to your mobile number to avoid renewal delays.
